Search and Rescue

Helicopters have transformed the way in which search and rescue (SAR) services are provided.

Able to reach remote locations and navigate complex terrains at fast speed, these flying missions can reach people in grave distress or critical danger with the aim of bringing them to safety as carefully and efficiently as possible. Coastguards and the armed forces undertake this function in a number of countries and many have leases for the latest, cutting-edge aircraft featuring the most recent advances in technology and passenger safety.

LCI’s fleet of Leonardo and Airbus helicopters features models already on deployment in these situations, and which have been adapted specifically for particular roles and settings. We work with our lessees and operators to ensure the aircraft requested are fully enhanced to serve in the field to the absolute best of their ability and with all additions and developments required to ensure their optimum reliability and performance.
