Leonardo AW189

The AW189 is AgustaWestland’s latest-generation, high performance 8.3 / 8.6 tons twin-engine
helicopter, designed to answer the growing market demand for a versatile, affordable, multirole platform and is optimized for long-range missions. The platform exceeds the most recent FAA and EASA Part 29 safety standards, ideal for demanding SAR and offshore operator requirements and benefits from an industry-leading 50 minutes ‘dry-run’ capability on the main gearbox.

The cockpit features an advanced, open-architecture avionics suite with fully digital glass cockpit, incorporating advanced situational awareness technologies to minimise pilot workload and
optimise mission-effectiveness.

Power plant: 2 x General Electric CT7-2E1 (2,000 shp class each) with FADEC
and built-in particle separator and one APU (60 kW)

Crew/passengers: 1 or 2 pilots and up to 19 passengers

The AW139 is a market-leading intermediate twin-engine helicopter – a benchmark for safety design features, performance capabilities and productivity in challenging multi-role operations all over the world.

The aircraft features leading edge technology, including a Honeywell Primus Epic fully integrated avionics system and 4-axis digital AFCS and benefits from the best-in-class power reserve and outstanding power to weight ratio, which provides Category A performance capabilities with no limitations in a wide range of operating conditions, including ‘hot and high’. Passengers and mission operators benefit from the largest, most comfortable cabin in the intermediate twin-engine class.

The AW169 is Leonardo’s latest-generation 4.5 tons class twin-turbine helicopter, featuring class-leading performance for versatile capability in the most demanding operating conditions. The aircraft exceeds the most demanding market and regulatory requirements, including the most recent FAA and EASA Part 29 standards for performance and safety.

Operators benefit from a large, rapidly reconfigurable cabin, with constant-height
cross section and easy access for adaptability to a variety of missions.
